PHOENIX -- Marijuana vending machine maker American Green Inc. said it has added a facility near Charlotte, NC, to improve the final-stage engineering of its equipment. The building, a former factory near American Green partner, an online vending machine sales site, provides workspace for equipment modification and storage before shipping.

"True, smart vending combined with age verification doesn't yet exist in the U.S. Our Zazzz machine achieved this milestone before, but not to a level necessary for public adoption," said American Green acting president David Gwyther." We learned, modified and are now ready to provide what our past experiences have taught us."

With the Vendron box, a smart vending solution developed by Malaysia-based Silkron, American Green is machine "agnostic," allowing it to add nearly any type of equipment to its network, Gwyther explained. The Vendron solution allows machines to be managed and monitored remotely, to accept cash, cashless and mobile payments and to broadcast targeted digital signage.

"It is a process, not a standalone unit, which is why it's simply called the American Green Machine," Gwyer said. "Our clients can phone it, shape it and wrap it as they wish, depending on their budget. Advances in cashless payments and continued smart phone adoption add to the positive user experience when they are able to directly interface with the system."

Additionally, American Green has expanded its market to include any restricted or regulated product within the various municipal regulations. | READ MORE
