MYRTLE BEACH, SC — This year’s Atlantic Coast Exposition will return to the Embassy Suites Hotel at Kingston Plantation here this fall. The show is set for Oct. 11-13 (Thursday through Saturday) and operator registration will open on May 1.

Five months before opening day, all available exhibit space at ACE 2018 has been reserved, in what may be the first exhibition sellout in more than six decades. The first Carolinas Vending Convention was organized in 1955, and it has been held annually in Myrtle Beach since 1970.

The ACE planning committee reports that this year’s show theme is “Sand, Sun & Fun,” and the keynote speaker is well-known author and motivational speaker, Will Bowen. The founder of the “Complaint-Free Movement,” which has more than 11 million followers worldwide, Bowen has attained wide recognition through his appearances on Oprah, The Today Show, Dr. Oz and Fox News, and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and Newsweek. Bowen, the author of Complaint-Free Relationships. will address the ACE Awards Breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 13.

The Atlantic Coast Exposition began as a joint activity of the North Carolina Vending Association and South Carolina Automatic Merchandising Association (now the South Carolina Vending Association). As the show grew, the Automatic Vendors Association of Virginia (now Virginia Automatic Merchandising Association) became the third sponsoring group.
