PFLUGERVILLE, TX -- Accent Food Services announced changes in its leadership team to take effect immediately. Josh Rosenberg will move from his operating position as president and chief executive to an active advisor.
Replacing Rosenberg is longtime industry executive Mike Lorelli, who will assume the role of chief executive, effective immediately.
“Mike was the perfect fit to assume this role for our people, our brand, and our customers. His personality and deep understanding of a people-focused culture made it an easy choice to turn over day-to-day responsibilities,” said Rosenberg. “I am excited to support his vision and forward direction in our pursuit to becoming the best total refreshment services company in our industry. With a solid leadership team in place, the time is right for me to focus my efforts where I can have the most impact -- supplier and customer relations, and future acquisitions.”
“I am truly honored and excited to follow Josh in this role,” said Lorelli. “The culture is strong and the focus on people and our customers is loud and clear. The opportunity to support our team in delivering upon this goal is exciting. Accent has grown by more than six times revenue over the past six years. The opportunity to optimize our operations is significant. The leadership team is solid and the foundation to increase stakeholder value quickly is in place.”
Lorelli brings a proven background as a c-suite executive. His experience includes time as a president at PepsiCo, chief executive of Pizza Hut prior to its spinoff to Yum Group, and most recently, time spent in similar roles within the private equity environment. Accent officials said his expertise in operational efficiency and effectiveness will foster Accent’s growth to be a world-class operator.
In addition to Lorelli joining the team, Accent Food Services has named Ken Sullivan chief operating officer. Sullivan joined Accent Food Services in July after leaving his post at U.S. Foods. Sullivan and his family will be relocating to the Pflugerville/Austin, TX,  area, where Accent is headquartered, in the coming months.

“The addition of Ken and his early success leading our operation has made this an easy decision for the next phase of Accent’s growth strategy,” said Rosenberg. “Ken has brought immediate improvements in operations with a clear plan to optimize our business.”

Rosenberg will remain in Austin and work alongside Sullivan to support Accent Food Services’ growth strategy. Rosenberg will continue to serve in his role as National Automatic Merchandising Association chairman in 2020, which is a significant time commitment.
Accent Food Services specializes in full-service vending, micromarkets, and coffee/panty services across Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Maryland and Washington, DC. It has grown to be one of the largest privately held operators in the nation.
