365 Retail Markets, ReadyTouch POS TROY, MI -- Self-checkout leader 365 Retail Markets said it has acquired ReadyTouch's point-of-sale software for onsite foodservice operations. Santa Clara, CA-based ReadyTouch's POS technology reportedly works in any self-service dining scenario, from checkout to kitchen management.

The ReadyTouch system consists of several applications. ReadyTouch Flex delivers solutions that transition between two checkout modes. ReadyPayGo, ideal for rush periods and maintaining after-hours operations, provides grab-and-go self-checkout, designed to eliminate long lines. ReadyCashier streamlines cashier services by reducing human error through flexible menu display and third-party integrations.

It also includes ReadyOrder, an order-ahead app that runs on touchscreen and mobile devices. It allows the customer to place orders that can be sent to the kitchen for completion. The kitchen management system, ReadyTouch KMS, allows kitchen staff to manage incoming orders and to notify customers when their orders are ready.

"The acquisition of ReadyTouch really fits our long-term strategy of building out the 'connected campus,'" said 365 chief executive Joe Hessling. "By adding the self-service dining products of ReadyTouch to our market-leading 365 MicroMarket and AirVend technology, we really created the all-in-one platform that our enterprise customers have been asking us for."

Three Six Five will demonstrate ReadyTouch's capabilities at the National Automatic Merchandising Association's OneShow, which takes place this week (April 19 to 21) at the Venetian resort. Visit booth No. 427.
