MALVERN, PA -- USA Technologies Inc. reports that its chief executive, Stephen P. Herbert, has been honored with a Future 50 award by SmartCEO Magazine. The award recognizes 50 midsize companies in the greater Philadelphia area for their swift growth, as gauged by a three-year average of employee and revenue numbers.
USA Technologies provides integrated cashless and mobile transactions in the self-service retail market. It's the leading cashless technology company in the vending industry. Herbert joined the company in 1996 and served as its president and chief operating officer from 1999 to 2011, when he was appointed chairman and chief executive. Prior to joining USAT, he worked at Pepsi-Cola Co. in management positions for operations, sales and marketing. Herbert is a graduate of Louisiana State University.
