Three Square Market Launches Daily Kup OCS Solution

HUDSON, WI -- Three Square Market has released Daily Kup, a point-of-sale solution that mirrors the sales process performed by its micromarket kiosks in office coffee service environments.

Daily Kup -- found at dailykup.com and at Android and iPhone smartphone app stores -- allows operators to offer a wide range of coffee flavors and drinks using Keurig or Keurig-compatible brewers. The Daily Kup kiosk or smartphone app facilitates the sale.

Customers can load money onto their coffee accounts either online, at the Daily Kup kiosk or by using their smartphones. They then can select and prepare their beverage, and pay for it at the Daily Kup kiosk or using smartphone app.

Todd Westby, chief executive of Daily Kup's parent company, TW Vending, pointed out that coffee tastes have transcended basic regular, and now encompasses decaf to a wide variety of flavors and drink types.

The Daily Kup kiosk reportedly costs less than $1,000.

"OCS operators for years have been losing sales from these new flavors to outside providers, whether it be the 7-Eleven or Starbucks," said Westby. "They had no means to buy a machine that would provide them a return on investment and a quality drink, and charge for it, until now."

Westby said its initial client for the payment solution is a Twin Cities OCS operator.
