ATLANTA -- Coca-Cola Co. is swapping out some of the logos on its 20-fl.oz. bottles for 250 of the nation's most popular teen names as part of its Share A Coke campaign. Similar to an initiative last year in the UK, names will replace Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Coke Zero logos.
Additionally, 12-fl.oz. cans will feature such colloquial teen nicknames as BFF, Star, Bestie, Legend and Buddy. Larger grocery-size bottles will sport generic group names like Family or Friends.
Coca-Cola Freestyle fountain dispenser patrons who have the Coca-Cola Freestyle app on their mobile phones can scan a QR code on the dispenser's home screen, follow the prompts and send a friend a coupon for a free 20-fl.oz. Coke.
