BRISTOL, PA -- Megatouch LLC has introduced a home version of its popular touchscreen videogame. The state-of-the-art interactive consumer model features a 21.5" flat-panel touchscreen display and user interface, weighs less than 20 lbs. and stands just more than a foot high when adjusted for the maximum viewing angle.

"Our players are always asking us how they can play Megatouch games when they can't make it out to their favorite Megatouch location," said Megatouch director of products and marketing Bill Layne. "Megatouch Home lets them tailor the machine to their preferences and, most importantly, gives them the social Megatouch experience in their own gamerooms."

The Megatouch home model offers more than 115 games, including classic Megatouch favorites with original graphics and gameplay, as well as a lineup of high-definition games with enhanced graphics. The machine's extensive game library includes a range of choices for the entire family, including a "Kids' Club" offering fun and educational games tailored to their ages and interests. More than a dozen of the Megatouch game selections offer "shoulder-to-shoulder" action in which two players compete simultaneously on the bright multi-touch screen. Additional game packs are available for purchase to further expand the library.

Megatouch Home runs under Microsoft Windows 7 Embedded and is supplied with Megatouch Live software. An optional wireless and Ethernet connection is available. Connecting to the Internet allows the Megatouch home unit to access player accounts and global leaderboards that keeps track of the machine's scores globally, enabling players to see how they stack up against others worldwide. It also provides a Web browser.
