PURCHASE, NY -- Megastar Beyoncé Knowles has signed a $50 million deal with PepsiCo to become the beverage giant's new brand ambassador.
As part of the deal, the chart-topping pop singer will appear on a limited-edition run of soda cans. She will also star in a global television campaign timed to coincide with the release of her next album, due to be release in 2013.
Beyoncé has also agreed to collaborate with the PepsiCo on creative projects, social media and live events, including her upcoming world tour.
The 31-year-old singer will be a headline performer for the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans on Feb. 3, sponsored by the soft drink giant.
