ROCHESTER, NY -- Sirness Vending Service has partnered with Wegman's supermarkets in a vending machine pilot program that brings healthier fresh food choices to Rochester, NY, high schoolers.

Wegman's is supplying its branded fresh fruit and juices, vegetables and dip, salads and yogurt, among other items, for Sirness Vending's food machines, according to a local media outlet.

The pilot program is currently in a half-dozen schools, and Sirness Vending and Wegman's said they hope to expand it to other local schools.

Founded in 1977, Sirness Vending Services is one of the largest locally owned and operated vending provider in the greater Rochester, NY, area.
