HENDERSON, NV -- Richard Ditton, a cofounder and executive vice-president of Incredible Technologies, maker of Golden Tee Golf, is getting into bar business with two locations slated to open by mid-August.
According to a story in the Las Vegas Sun, Ditton will open two bars in the same building in this upscale suburb that is part of metropolitan Las Vegas.
The first store, called HiScores, will feature classic 1980s coin-op amusement videogames like Pac-Man and Asteroids, along with Wi-Fi and bartop gambling. Tavern food will be served along with alcohol.
The second, mainly a drinking establishment, will be known as the Players Club and will feature mostly gambling equipment, along with some pinball games and soccer and air hockey tables.
Leif Marwede, a former game designer and longtime Ditton associate, will manage the locations.
