GLENVIEW, IL -- Kraft Foodservice has partnered with Feeding America to help foodservice operators join the nationwide effort to fight hunger by simply purchasing its new YES Pack dressings.
Through the "Fight Hunger with Every Case" program, Kraft Foodservice will donate one meal to Feeding America -- up to one million meals -- for every case of Kraft YES Pack dressings purchased from January through Dec. 2012.
The YES Pack -- which stands for Yield, Ease and Sustainability -- is made from flexible plastic, allowing operators to easily squeeze out up to 99% of the dressing inside. | SEE STORY
Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity, distributes more than three billion pounds of food per year to more than 37 million Americans in need.
"The YES Pack is a conscientious product -- it conserves energy and raw materials at nearly every stage of the production process making it better for the environment -- so we know the customers who use it are conscientious as well," said Stacey Rychlewski, business manager of Kraft Foods. "Now they can be part of a larger effort that helps not just their individual businesses but also their community."
