GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL -- Coin Mechanisms, the North American distributor for Azkoyen Payment Systems, has announced the availability of the new Azkoyen R1 mini payout hopper.
The R1 hopper features three coin payout configurations -- left side, right side and top -- with a payout rate of up to seven coins per second. Incorporating anti-coin-jam design and flash technology, the Azkoyen R1 works on 12- or 24-VDC power. It includes both full and empty sensors as standard equipment, and can accommodate coins ranging in size from 14.5mm. (0.57") up to 33mm. (1.3") in diameter, and in thicknesses from 1mm. (0.04 in.) to 3.3mm. (0.13"). According to Coin Mechanisms, it is ideal for the amusement, kiosk, gaming and change machine markets.
Coin Mechanisms, founded in 1968 by Arlene Pierz, has many firsts to its credit, including the Coin Comparitor (1983) and a succession of line-leading electronic coin and token validators.
