All Stop Inks 3-Year Pact With USAT For Telemetry Services; Wants To Go All Cashless By 2014

MALVERN, PA -- USA Technologies reports that All Stop, a southeastern Florida vending and foodservice operator, has signed an exclusive agreement with USAT for cashless payment and telemetry services, and indicated its intention of advancing to 100% cashless equipment. Under the terms of the three-year pact, All Stop will make use of USAT's ePort technology for cashless payment and telemetry hardware platforms as well as USAT's ePort Connect, a one-stop, comprehensive suite of services.

All Stop provides vending and coffee services in the counties of Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Broward. "We started our cashless transition using USAT with just a small number of machines, because we wanted to learn more," said owner Michael Helft. "Once it became clear to us that consumers were becoming increasingly familiar with cashless, we decided to run, not walk. In fact, we would like All Stop to be at 100% cashless by 2014."

The Florida vendor explained that technology is expanding far beyond the traditional "box" and his cashless strategy is about the economics and spending behaviors of consumers in his market, which is now seeing greater use of credit and debit cards, and likely mobile-based payment in the years ahead.
