Nine Inch Nails Release Hesitation Marks
NEW YORK CITY -- September 3, 2013 marked the debut of Nine Inch Nails’ new album, "Hesitation Marks," on TouchTunes. "Hesitation Marks" will be the band’s eighth studio album and first release since 2008’s "The Slip." Produced by Reznor, Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder, the album features “Came Back Haunted,” which was released as the album’s lead single in June and climbed to the Top 10 Billboard’s US Alternative Songs chart. TouchTunes Indie Spotlight: Elliot BROOD
Starting September 3, 2013, TouchTunes featured Canadian sensation Elliot BROOD. This fall, the three-piece alt country group celebrates the 10th anniversary of their debut EP, "Tin Type." The band’s second full length album, "Mountain Meadows," helped put Elliot BROOD on the map, garnering the trio two JUNO Award nominations and a Polaris Music Prize nomination in 2009. In 2011, Elliot BROOD signed with Paper Bag Records and released "Days Into Years," which won the 2013 JUNO Award for Roots & Traditional Album Of The Year by a group. Keith Urban Fuse Debuts on TouchTunes
On September 10, 2013, country heavyweight Keith Urban's new album "Fuse" makes its debut on TouchTunes. An effort by the superstar to explore new musical territory, Urban explains that the inspiration for the album was "rhythms and sounds [he] wanted to hear fused together.” Urban also added that "diversity" is the buzz-word for "Fuse" thanks to a broad array of songwriters and producers he worked with in Nashville and Los Angeles, including longtime collaborator Dann Huff, Nathan Chapman, Butch Walker, Mike Elizondo, Jay Joyce and Zach Crowell. The album features 13 new songs, including duets with Miranda Lambert and Eric Church. In support of the release, Keith Urban is currently performing on his Light the Fuse Tour 2013, which will end on February 1 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
