LAS VEGAS -- British shoe designer Rollasole has placed its first outdoor vending machine on the Las Vegas Strip. Rollasole roll-up shoes sold through the machines let Vegas' party crowd ditch their heels for comfy flats, on the spot.
The newest vender is located on the Strip outside of Fashion Show Mall and is Rollasole's fifth machine after launching inside Body English Nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, in addition to another machine located inside Fashion Show Mall.
Rollasole introduced its first two machines inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian in 2012 and has been expanding ever since. Rollasole shoes are also featured inside every hotel room's mini bar in Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace and in the store Essentials at MGM in Las Vegas.
Each pair of the shoes rolls up to fit in a purse and includes a compact bag to carry heels home in. They come in a variety of styles, sizes and colors from which patrons can select using the vender's touchscreen display.
The company also has several of its signature vending machines in Los Angeles. The shoe venders have been featured at the Golden Globe Awards for the past three years in collaboration with L'Oreal Cosmetics and will be returning this month.
