JEFFERSON, NC -- The North Carolina Vending Association assembled 120 industry members in late July here at the Jefferson Landing Golf Club and Resort for three days of meetings, networking and golf.
Members from NCVA sister associations -- the South Carolina Vending Association and Virginia Automatic Merchandising Association -- were among those to attend the membership appreciation event and golf outing.
"We all had a great time getting together to have some fun and get a little work done at the same time," said NCVA president and Atlantic Coast Exposition planning committee chair Wayne Seagraves, Canteen Vending Services (Ridgeway, VA). "Everybody is ready to do it again -- what a great stepping stone to kick us off in a big way for ACE in October."
NCVA, SCVA and VAMA share in the planning of the upcoming Atlantic Coast Exposition. The 57th annual vending and OCS confab, scheduled for Oct. 4-6 at Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach, SC, is administered by TayCar Inc., a Cary, NC-based association management company. Show organizers report that this year's event has sold out the exhibit space and operator registration is underway.
