CORONA, CA -- AVT Inc. is rolling out a line of wall-mounted vending machines that provide patients with information about various medicines, and dispense samples of them.
Called the Automated Medicine Information and Dispensing System, the machine displays product information on a 32" touchscreen display and can be programmed to dispense samples when authorized. It has a capacity of up to 300 items.
Designed for doctors' offices, the machine is made with galvanized steel and equipped with a Web camera for added security. Other features include drop sensors, intelligent control to manage product expiration, continuous auto-testing of machine functions and photosensor position controls. The machine also provides real-time reports on product interest and sampling.
