MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- Registration is now open for the 2013 Atlantic Coast Exposition, which will take place from Oct. 3 to 5 at the Kingston Plantation here. Show planners for the 59th annual vending and office coffee service confab have also released a preliminary agenda.
The North Carolina Vending Association, South Carolina Vending Association and Virginia Automatic Merchandising Association, ACE's joint sponsors, will hold board meetings on Oct. 3.
The formal program gets under way on Friday morning. Sessions include Marketing for Success: Making a Big Impact with a Small Budget, presented by Rich Carango of Shubert Communications; Invest, Innovate or Die -- What to do When Everything is Changing by Paul Schlossberg, DFW Consulting; and New Products for 2013 and Beyond. ACE's popular training camps for technicians and supervisors, which require separate registration, round out the program.

On Saturday morning, the sponsoring associations will recognize operator and supplier members for their exceptional contributions to the industry at ACE's annual industry awards breakfast. Career coach Ty Bello of Team@Work (Spencerville, IN) will deliver the keynote address.
The exhibit hall will reopen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., ACE's ever-popular tailgate cornhole beach party will follow, bringing the confab to a festive climax.
ACE is extending an "early bird" rate of $50 a person to operators and guests who register prior to Aug. 5; that fee increases to $99 after Aug. 5. Registration for children 12 and under costs $10 each. The Technician and Supervisor Training Camps cost an additional $75 a person for each course.
