BROOKLYN PARK, MN -- The Minnesota Operators of Music and Amusements will host its 2013 summer conference at Chase on the Lake, nestled on the shores of Leech Lake in the center of Walker, MN. Chase of the Lake is a five star resort.

The conference takes place June 5-6 (Wednesday-Thursday), but MOMA executive director Chuck Leininger Sr. recommends that participants arrive a day or two earlier to take advantage of the offerings of the five-star resort in northern Minnesota.

"The fishing is great on Leech Lake, and there are guides that will take you out and fill your limit," Leininger said. "If you want to get in a round of golf, the two local courses are Tianna and Long Bow. The shops in Walker are quaint and the values are there. And you could try your luck at a casino just five minutes away from the resort."

MOMA's Chase on the Lake accommodations include lake-view rooms for $109 and two-bedroom condos for $189. Leininger said these special rates won't last long and advises industry members to make reservations soon. To book a room, call the resort at (218) 547-7777. For information about the conference, call Leininger at (612) 363-2894.
