TOKYO -- Namco Bandai's robust fiscal year continued with its recent financial report released on Feb. 5. The arcade game and toy company reported that its profits rose nearly 72% during the nine months ended Dec. 31 compared with the same period last year.
The company said it netted $303 million from an 8.4% year-over-year increase in sales. During the third quarter, which also ended Dec. 31, arcade machine sales drove $531 million in revenues.
Namco said its full fiscal year revenue for the year ending March 31, 2013 is projected to be at $5 billion. | SEE VG24/7 STORY
