SOMERSET, NJ -- Tricorp Amusements president Chuck Peitz has announced the promotion of Rocky LaPenta within the company's management team as executive vice-president of operations.

LaPenta joined Tricorp in 2003 as a route collector and quickly advanced to an area supervisor post. In 2011, he was promoted to director of northern operations and became an integral part of the management team.

In his new post, he will headquarter at Tricorp's corporate office in Somerset, NJ, and also will be actively involved with the operational process with all regional warehouse operations.

A graduate of Widener University (Chester, PA), LaPenta holds a bachelor's degree in communications, with a focus on TV and video broadcasting. He got his start in the amusement industry in 2001, working with Namco as a store manager, and became a route manager before joining Tricorp.

Tricorp Amusements Inc. has been a nationwide leader of amusement service operations since 1982. It now has more than 100 employees and maintains offices in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Virginia, Georgia and Florida.
