photo booth juke box PHILADELPHIA -- AMI Entertainment has teamed up with Apple Industries (Greenvale, NY) to introduce a Face Place conversion kit for AMI's popular NGX jukebox. The kit allows NGX operators to enhance their patrons' jukebox experience by adapting it to offer a variety of photographic services using Apple's Smile 2.0 photobooth technology.

The NGX Face Place conversion kit comes in two models. The first is designed for NGX jukeboxes already equipped with AMI's updated, high-performance cores (manufactured after April 1, 2013). The second kit is designed for use in older NGX units and includes the new high-performance core. Both kits include the cabinet, a light assembly and the Face Place photo printer. Paper and ink can be purchased online from Apple Industries at www.faceplacephoto.com, or ordered by calling (516) 619-8000.

All future NGX Face Place orders will require an order of the NGX Classic (32-in.) jukebox and a Face Place kit.

The NGX Face Place employs Apple Industries' Smile 2.0 photo technology with built-in face detection that can be used to create fun custom photos. Smile 2.0 works in conjunction with a Mitsubishi photo printing system to give patrons a variety of print purchase options, including color or black-and-white photo strips, 4 x 6 or postcard-size photos, prints with holiday borders and more. Patrons can share their photos right from the jukebox through email, Facebook or Twitter, and can create their own videos to share with friends.

The NGX Face Place also offers locations the ability to personalize photo prints with their logo or another image of their choice, providing exposure to a widening circle of prospective new customers.

The NGX, with V3 software, gives patrons access to custom playlists, interactive features and AMI's extensive music library. At the same time, it offers operators the reliability and worry-free owner experience expected of AMI products.

AMI Entertainment Network has been developing cutting-edge entertainment solutions for taverns and restaurants for more than a century. AMI jukeboxes and Tap TV are engineered to connect with today's tech-savvy patrons, delivering everything from music through video to mobile.
