WASHINGTON -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association's "Takes the Hill Fly-In" will feature a welcome reception and dinner on July 21. NAMA "Takes the Hill" on July 21 and 22, and will be based at the Omni Shoreham Hotel here. Tuesday evening's reception and dinner will take place in the Paladian Ballroom. Since 1930, the hotel has played host to presidents and inaugural balls, making it a true Washington landmark.
During the dinner, high-ranking members of Congress will address the group about the importance of the grassroots political process and the significant role operators play.
The goal of the Fly-In is to bring members of the vending and refreshment services industry to Washington to meet with their legislators and stress the importance of the industry in each congressional district.
