Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf K-Cups will be available as "premium" offerings in several channels in the U.S. beginning in spring 2014.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, founded in 1963, is widely regarded as the oldest privately held specialty coffee and tea retailer in the U.S. The company says it selects only the top 1% of Arabica beans and premium hand-plucked, whole-leaf teas through its relationships with private coffee farms and tea estates around the world.
There are more than 900 Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf specialty coffee shops in some 30 countries. Its products are also available in grocery stores, restaurants and offices, as well as in conjunction with its own CBTL single-serve beverage system.
