BIRMINGHAM, AL -- Red Diamond is bringing its 107-year-old coffee and tea brands to single-serve brewers with UpShot portion packs. Beginning in June, the company will offer several of its most popular tea and coffee blends in the single-serve cups.
LBP Manufacturing launched the UpShot Solution last fall. The line of eco-friendly, single-serve filters paired with scalable production equipment is designed to make it simple and economical for roasters, office coffee service, foodservice, retailers and brands to deliver their own single-cup product lines.
The UpShot filter features a proprietary mesh that allows customers to see and smell the coffee or tea when they open the outer packaging. In addition, the sidewall mesh offers multiple points of contact for water and grind, which the company claims results in a superior brew to competing solutions.
The UpShot Filter is compatible with Keurig and other K-Cup single-serve brewers, and is made from 100% polypropylene, making it recyclable along with other #5 plastics.
Red Diamond provides coffee, tea and foodservice products to hotels, restaurants, offices and homes.
