WEST CHESTER, PA -- Mars Drinks has taken the wraps off its Flavia Barista brewer, designed to authentically craft espresso and a wide range of coffeehouse-style hot beverages in the workplace at the touch of a button.
The premium brewer provides the required high pressure of up to 15 BARs to offer full-bodied, Italian espressos with thick, rich "crema" in 30 to 40 seconds. It also offers cappuccinos, lattes, teas, coffees and hot chocolates.
Mars Drinks has teamed with global coffee giant Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group to feature three of its Segafredo Zanetti brand espresso blends with the Flavia Barista brewer internationally. More than 50 million cups of Segafredo Zanetti coffee beverages are reportedly consumed worldwide every day.
Flavia Barista will make its debut this fall with three Segafredo Zanetti SKUs: extra strong, mild and Cafesenza (decaffeinated) espresso Freshpacks, exclusively for use with the machine.
"The right beverage experience is a catalyst for the kinds of moments that transform workplace culture," said Mars Drinks global president Xavier Unkovic. "At Mars Drinks, we create great-tasting moments that encourage collaboration and ideation in the workplace, and we are now excited to extend that proposition to include Segafredo Zanetti espresso through our new Flavia Barista brewer."
Mars Drinks pioneered the brew-by-pack hot drink category in 1984 when it introduced Flavia brewers, the first system for making hot drinks using fresh ground coffee and leaf teas sealed in individual servings.
