DENVER -- Marley Coffee has partnered with Alliance Sales & Marketing, a private food broker based in Charlotte, NC, to increase penetration in the eastern U.S. in the grocery and natural foods retail sector. It's also teamed with National Sales Associates (Stroudsburg, PA) to act as its broker in the natural foods segment for the western U.S. Combined, the two brokerages have more than 500 full-time representatives in the field.
The brokerages expand on the efforts of Harlow-HRK Sales & Marketing Inc., Marley Coffee's broker of record for all Kroger grocery divisions, which include regional grocery chains Ralph's, Fred Meyer, QFC, Smith's, Fry's, King and Soopers.
"We expect that Alliance and National Sales Associates will help us get more 'feet on the street' and open up major opportunities with a larger and more geographically diverse set of retailers and provide brand support for our existing customer base," said Rohan Marley, founder and chairman of Marley Coffee.
