WOOD DALE, IL -- Speedy's One Stop Repair Service has moved from Bensenville, IL, to a new facility in nearby Wood Dale.

The Wood Dale headquarters, described as "a much-needed upgrade," includes a 4,000-sq.ft. service area fitted with state-of-the-art repair fixtures and equipment. It is located at 712 N. Central Ave., Ste. B, Wood Dale, IL 60191. The phone and fax numbers remain (630) 238-2229 and (630) 238-2228, respectively.

Originally established by Namco Cybertainment Inc. to support its own equipment, Speedy's One Stop began to offer expert technical service to operators across the country about 14 months ago. | SEE STORY

The company is celebrating its move to larger quarters with a special offer for its operator, distributor and manufacturer customers: flat-rate repair service for GD-ROM drives for $150 or $125 per drive for two or more sent as a single order. All GD-ROM drives sent in for repair under this special must be complete and assembled; Speedy's reserves the right to refuse items on the basis of physical damage, abuse or previous repair attempts by other vendors. (GD-ROM is the proprietary high-capacity optical disk format originally developed by Sega and incorporated in the Sega/Nintendo/Namco Triforce arcade system.)

Speedy's One Stop Repair Service maintains a website, with online ordering features, at sosrepairservice.com.
