Allstar Vending, Myrna Dorfman POINTE-CLAIRE, QC, Canada -- Myrna Dorfman returns as president and chief executive at Allstar Vending, effective immediately. Dorfman previously served as the organization's chief executive from the late 1980s to 2009.

Dorfman originally founded the company as Allstar Distributing, which sold trading card vending machines. Her company moved from baseball card to sticker venders, which created an opportunity to develop and sell machine content. The company, headquartered near Montreal, quickly established itself as a leading flat merchandise supplier and more recently as one of the top providers of capsuled merchandise for bulk vending.

In 2009, Dorfman appointed her son, Adam, as president of Allstar Vending so she could focus on special projects. During that transition, she held the title of chairwoman while retaining majority ownership of the company. Adam Dorfman has left the company to pursue other interests.

"Adam has done a fantastic job at keeping Allstar's product lines diverse, innovative and relevant to young vending patrons -- which has been our mission for more than two decades," Myrna Dorfman said. "In 2012, we will continue to evolve and forecast some of the best stickers, tattoos and capsule novelties that will be available to vendors."
