SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- Apriva plans to showcase its cashless payment solution, Apriva Vend, at the Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association's 2010 vending exposition. The event is set for the Big Four Building in Calgary, AB, home of the annual Calgary Stampede and Exhibition, on Sept. 24 and 25.

Apriva Vend is an end-to-end solution designed to enable operators to integrate cashless vending into their operations cost-effectively. It incorporates system hardware and software, wireless connectivity, reporting capabilities and integration with payment processors and financial institutions. It also gives vending operators access to the company's Cashless Coach program, which provides ongoing guidance and support to ensure peak performance.

"Much like their peers in the United States, Canadian vending operators have been battling tight margins and escalating operating costs for years," said Paul DeRosse, Apriva's vice-president for business development in Canada. "We've spoken with many operators who believe that accepting card-based payments is a very attractive strategy for generating sales, reducing expenses, improving customer satisfaction and increasing profitability."

The Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association, established in 1953, is headquartered in Mississauga, ON, Canada. Information on its annual convention and services may be found at vending-cama.com.
