CHICAGO -- The Conan O'Brien show is giving away thousands of free, fan-designed t-shirts this week to promote the late-night series descending on Chicago for a week.

Fans of the TBS show can obtain free t-shirts from 8 a.m. to noon through Friday, June 15, by using secret codes revealed during "Conan Chicago Week" episodes, which kick off the 2012 edition of the cable television network's Just For Laughs Chicago Comedy Festival.

Codes can be entered into vending machines located throughout Chicago or through a virtual vending machine at teamcoco.com/freeshirts.

T-shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans must have the secret code revealed during the previous night's episode of Conan in order to obtain a t-shirt. The shirts are designed by a combination of Chicago artists and Conan fans. In addition, each of the 10 vending machines is wrapped in fan-created artwork.

The vending machines are located at Wrigley Field, Navy Pier, Union Station and The Chicago Theater, as well as on The Magnificent Mile and in the Windy City's famed Loop. Each machine is listed on Foursquare, giving fans a chance to check-in and share photos and tweets.
