BRISTOL, PA -- Mike Gilson, a former Ecast technical support manager, has officially joined AMI Entertainment's sales and service organization. Gilson had been retained by AMI over the summer to assist with the massive Ecast-to-AMI network migration.

San Francisco-based Ecast Inc. shut down its jukebox music network on March 1; AMI became a secured creditor, allowing it to gain access to the defunct company's network. AMI began migrating Ecast boxes in mid-September. | SEE STORY

Gilson had joined Ecast's technical support department in 2007, rose to the post of field engineer and then became account manager.

As permanent AMI member, Gilson will continue to assist on matters pertaining to the former Ecast network and work as regional sales manager covering the Pacific Northwest.
