WEST CHESTER, PA -- A leading payment systems company has launched a website for the vending industry. Located at MEIVending.com, the MEI SmartOps Center is designed to be a vending technology hub for operators to find information and share their experiences with the latest technology, including cashless transactions, cash recycling, item-level tracking, prekitting, remote monitoring and telemetry.

The SmartOps Center was built in response to operators' growing need to invest in vending technology to run more efficiently and grow their profit margins, MEI officials said. The site provides a sounding board for peers to share their ideas, concerns and experiences with vending technology.

The website features the SmartTalk Blog, where operators can get answers to their questions from MEI technology experts. Responses are listed by topic for easy future reference as a FAQ.

The site's Vending Resource Center provides a collection of videos, case studies, podcasts, articles, news and seminars about various vending technology topics. Also featured on the website are product specs for MEI's payment systems, cash recycling technology and vending management software.

MEI unattended payment systems handle more than two billion transactions a week all over the world. Recently, the company reached a milestone by selling more than four million bill validators and five million coin mechanisms worldwide. Its products are widely used in the vending, soft drink, amusement, gaming, transportation, retail, and kiosk markets.
