NEWINGTON, CT -- A customer at Chuck E. Cheese's here brandished a 0.38 caliber revolver and threatened another customer on Feb. 4, just 43 miles from Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.

Tawana Bourne, 30, was there with her children and she reportedly used the gun to threaten another mother, who was also present with her kids.

Bourne was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and risk of injury to children, among other things. She was later freed on $50,000 bail, said local news outlets.

Chuck E. Cheese's staff acted quickly to summon police after Bourne pulled the gun, bringing the incident to a nonviolent close. CEC Entertainment Inc. said all weapons are banned at its locations and that it's evaluating the company's security. The children's entertainment chain has had to deal with several high-profile incidents involving unscrupulous adult customers in recent years. | SEE STORY
