AMI Entertainment Launches Tap-Lite Recycling Program

Source: AMI Entertainment Network | Released June 4, 2013
(6/5/2013)

Operators can upgrade existing TAP.TV Lite units for $249

Philadelphia, PA, June 4, 2013 -- AMI Entertainment Network is excited to announce the launch of the Tap-Lite recycling program, a new service being offered to operators of existing TAP.TV Lite systems. In exchange for a small one-time fee, operators will be able to send their TAP.TV hardware to AMI for factory refurbishment and upgrades that will make it possible to offer the all-new Tap TV and Tap TV Trivia services to patrons.

The reinvented Tap TV and the all-new Tap TV Trivia let operators provide the fun and excitement of a national trivial challenge at no cost to patrons. Challenging multiple-choice trivia questions are displayed on TVs inside a venue, and players use their own smartphones and the free Tap TV app to choose the correct answer. The game features 12 entertaining categories that cover everything from sports to video games, plus personal player accounts and multiple leaderboards to keep players entertained and fighting for high scores.

The new Tap TV Lite system began shipping to operators in early May. To help established TAP.TV operators take advantage the new Tap TV Tap TV Trivia, AMI is offering the Tap-Lite recycling program for all existing TAP.TV Lite hardware. For a one-time fee of $249 and the cost of one-way shipping of the TAP.TV hardware, AMI will inspect and clean the system, install a new hard drive and software, and provide the operator with a new remote control, I/R receiver, and all the documentation needed to get up and running with the newly reinvented Tap TV. AMI will even cover the cost of return shipping via UPS ground.

Taking part in the program is easy. Just pack up your TAP.TV Lite along with its hard drive, memory, WiFi antenna, power supply, and cord. Include your contact and system information -- including name, business address, daytime phone number, and TAP.TV Lite serial number -- on a sheet of paper with the words "Tap Lite Recycling Program," and ship it to AMI at:

AMI Entertainment Network, Inc.
1207 Beta Court
Rockwall, TX 75087
Attn: Tap TV Recycling Program

AMI customer service will contact operators via the included phone number and contact information when the system or systems have been converted. That's all it takes to get in on the ground floor of the brand new, totally reinvented Tap TV and Tap TV Trivia. There's no long-term contracts or other obligations required!
