SAN DIEGO – A company called DitchTheCan is promoting its new Kaos Gold Energy drink through a social network campaign that gives consumers a chance to get paid daily for drinking and promoting its drinks.
The company said it is teaming up with TVA Media Group Inc. to launch a national ad campaign this spring that will include an infomercial, supported by commercials promoting both DTC's product and its get-paid-to-drink promotion.
The campaign will take place over the course of several months in mixed media channels such as television, airlines, print, radio, Internet and social media.
KAOS Gold Energy is said to have 80% less sugar and 70% fewer calories than the leading canned energy drinks. Initial production is slated to begin within the next several weeks.
