photo booth, teen thieves in photo booth CROFTON, MD -- There is dumb, and then there is stunningly dumb. In what may be worthy of joining the annals of world's dumbest crimes, four teens have been apprehended after allegedly using a photobooth to take images of themselves with a stolen credit card.

According to local press reports, an unnamed woman reported her card missing to the Anne Arundel County (MD) Police on June 6. After reviewing its transaction history, police traced the card to a Regal Cinema here. From there they were able to identify the teens purchasing tickets and entering a nearby photobooth. A photo later surfaced and police released the image of the teens -- one of them actually holding the card -- to the public.

The alleged perpetrators were apprehended within days.
