BRUSSELS, Belgium -- Water treatment giant BWT water+more (Wiesbaden, Germany) has joined the European Vending Association. It's part of the Best Water Technology Group, headquartered in Mondsee, Austria.
Since BWT strives to optimize the quality of hot and cold beverages dispensed from vending equipment, the firm sees EVA membership as an important step forward. Managing director Frank Neuhausen said, "Based on our close relationship with leading manufacturers and operators in the vending sector, we will continue to be part of the international vending network, on a European basis."
EVA director-general Catherine Piana welcomed BWT water+more's enrollment in the association's membership, and lauded its emphasis on improving vended beverages. "It's very important to change the consumer's perception by showing them what high-quality drinks the vending industry can offer," she pointed out.
