AMI

BRISTOL, PA -- Bob Fay, director of government relations for AMI Entertainment Network, has been appointed to serve on the U.S. Department of Commerce's Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Consumer Goods.

Fay, a former FBI agent and longtime expert in international trade matters, will serve as a representative of AMI Entertainment and the U.S. amusements industry. AMI officials said that Fay "will continue to work towards the development and implementation of trade policies that serve the industry and the national interest."

For some 14 years in the late 1980s and through the '90s, Fay headed the American Amusement Machine Association, first as executive director and later as president. Prior to that, he served as AAMA's director of investigations. As a result of this experience, Fay developed strong working relationships with embassies, trade organizations, and law enforcement officials worldwide and also with a wide array of U.S. federal agencies and departments.

Fay also has worked with authorities in Argentina, the Baltic Republics, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China and India, along with Korea, Mexico, Spain, Taiwan and other nations.
