Next Generation Acquires Upstate NY Canteen Franchise

CANTON, MA -- Next Generation Vending and Food Service Inc. announced that it has acquired the assets of Canteen Co. of Utica-Rome.

Canteen Co. of Utica-Rome's service radius extends throughout Oneida, Madison and Herkimer counties in upstate New York. Next Generation said will integrate the business into its existing operations in the region.

Next Generation delivers vending and office refreshment services to more than 8,500 customers throughout the Northeast, including Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, upstate New York and Northern Pennsylvania. The company announced in January that it had divested its foodservice business to focus on vending. | SEE STORY
