CHICAGO -- The National Association of Concessionaires will hold its 29th annual convention in Anaheim, CA, from July 12 through 15. Discounts are available to prospective participants who register by May 23.
This year, NAC will return to hosting its own trade show, organized specifically for the recreation and leisure-time foodservice industry. The convention and exposition will be held at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel, in the heart of Downtown Disney District. The hotel's Sequoia Room will house the exhibition.
The association noted that taking advantage of the early-bird discount will reduce the cost of full convention registration by at least $100. For example, NAC member registration is $550 until May 23 and $725 thereafter. Full details, including special rates for first-time convention-goers, may be found at naconline.org.
Online registration will be available through June 30, 2011, after which it will be necessary to register onsite, at additional cost.
The convention is an educational conference covering a wide range of concessions and foodservice topics, NAC reported. Business sessions are practical and focused on the concessions industry, facilitating interaction among all types of operations. Social functions encourage participants to network in a less formal setting.
The full convention registration fee includes all educational sessions, food functions, social events, venue tours and the trade show.
