TOKYO -- Japanese videogame players will soon be able "tweet" to friends directly from the new Sega Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, a coin-op title, according to gamer fansites and the game's own website.
Players will have the ability to tweet, or send short Internet text messages, from the videogame if they have accounts with Twitter and Sega's VF.net game network.
U.S. fansites said Virtua Fighter 5 is now being shown to trade professionals in Japan, but precise details of its coin-op release are not yet available.
