CARLSTADT, NJ -- Betson Enterprises reports that it has formed a strategic marketing and sales agreement with Automated Services International and Choice Equipment Sales, both headed by Joe Loparco.
Under the pact, Betson, ASI and CES will offer an extensive selection of products and services to operators and locations in the Northeast. Betson will have sole marketing rights for New York, New England, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
ASI will be responsible for working with Betson personnel to drive sales throughout the region, and for coordinating related support programs.
CES will be responsible for sourcing raw product and refurbishing the machines at its North Carolina facilities.
Steven Betti, president of Betson Imperial Parts and Service, observed that "reconditioned machines increasingly represent a viable, cost-effective alternative, particularly in today's economic environment. Our alliance with ASI and CES enables us to develop this market segment in an accelerated manner, and will give our customers an immediate benefit from this relationship."
Choice Equipment's Bob Loparco added, "Our alliance with a company of Betson's stature is another example of our long history of trying to take our respective businesses to the next level. We have worked with Betson through the years, both as a customer and a supplier, so this alliance is really just an extension of an already well-established, much-valued relationship."
Betson runs 11 distribution offices nationwide. With more than 75 years of industry experience, it is the leading distributor of coin-operated amusement and vending equipment, parts and service in the United States.
Choice Equipment Sales Inc., a distributor of used and reconditioned vending machines, was founded in 1994. The company has a 30,000-sq.ft. production center in Charlotte, NC, where it maintains a substantial inventory of equipment and spare parts.
