MINNEAPOLIS -- The AMOA-National Dart Association (NDA) and Valley National 8-Ball League Association (VNEA) will team up again for the second biennial League SMART joint educational conference this summer. It will be held July 12 to 14 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport.
The two-day event, first held in 2010, unites the NDA's Dart Summit and VNEA's Charter Holder Workshop. Amusement operators and league coordinators from across the world will gather to learn the best techniques for increasing league participation and interest. As the program develops, details will be available on the NDA and VNEA websites:
NDA and VNEA representatives and leading manufacturers in both the dart and pool industry will be available throughout the event to field questions and offer recommendations.
NDA is an international trade association of coin-operated enterprises representing approximately 300 members and 250,000 players worldwide. It was formed by and for coin machine operators to promote the sport of electronic darting exclusively on operator-owned equipment.
VNEA represents coin machine operators, manufacturers, suppliers and pool players. Its mission is to encourage pool players to form leagues and play in weekly competition on pool tables owned by the operator members.
Registration for League SMART is free to NDA and VNEA members and is open to nonmembers for $275. The Crown Plaza room rate is $105 a night if reserved by June 19.
