CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association reports that industry veterans Tara Burnaman and Ken Shea have been named co-chairs of this year's Coffee, Tea and Water conference in New Orleans.
The event, fifth in a series of steadily growing NAMA conferences devoted to office refreshments, is set for the Hyatt Regency Hotel from Nov. 13 to 15 (Tuesday-Thursday).
Burnaman and Shea presently are employed by DS Waters of America (Atlanta), a nationwide operation providing pure water, coffee and tea, as well as breakroom equipment and supplies. Shea is vice-president and general manager of DS's Coffee Division, and Burnaman is its director of procurement. The DS Coffee Division includes the recently acquired Standard Coffee business.
Both co-chairs have had distinguished careers with New Orleans-based Standard, which developed a clientele of 60,000 OCS and pure water accounts nationwide. Prior to joining Standard, Burnaman owned and operated Tara's Ultimate Cafe, a full-service restaurant in New Orleans, for 10 years.
