ATLANTA -- New from Fresh Gourmet Co. LLC is a line of tortilla chips designed to address today's growing demand for more natural products prepared with fresh ingredients.
Called The Better Chip, the new snack is gluten-free. It's formulated with 40% diced fresh produce cooked directly into whole-grain corn masa (dough). The chips are manufactured in a nut-free environment, on a line dedicated to tortilla products. All ingredients are natural, not genetically modified and without animal byproducts.
The new tortilla chips come in four flavors: Fresh Corn and Sea Salt, Red Pepper and Salsa Fresca, Sweet Onion and White Cheddar, and Jalapeño and Sea Salt. They're available in 1-oz. snack packs (40 bags per case) and 2-oz. deli packs (18 per case), as well as an 8-oz family size.
