BUFFALO GROVE, IL , TouchTunes has appointed Mike Jablonski to lead the digital jukebox provider's expansion into international markets, according to an announcement by TouchTunes vice-president of sales and marketing Dan McAllister. As a new regional manager, Jablonski is charged with opening the company's first accounts in Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. A seasoned professional of the jukebox industry, Jablonski comes to TouchTunes from NSM Music, a maker of CD and digital downloading jukeboxes, where he served as vice-president of sales and marketing. Before NSM, he directed technical services for Rock-Ola. "As an industry, we've really crossed the sales threshold," McAllister said. "The question nowadays isn't whether a jukebox operator will buy digital-downloading machines but, rather, when and how many. The demand is exploding, and we're staffing up to meet it." Jablonski will be based at the company's U.S. sales and service headquarters here and report to McAllister.
