ST AUGUSTINE, FL -- CoffeeSmart, a manufacturer of premium shelf-stable coffee concentrates and proprietary dispensing equipment, will be introducing its products and programs to the industry at the upcoming National Automatic Merchandising Association Show at Chicago’s Navy Pier, Sept. 23-25.
The coffee dispensers use advanced “smart touch” technology to ensure a consistent supply of expertly prepared coffee on demand. The use of liquid concentrate speeds service and eliminates the need for filters since no brewing is necessary. It also eliminates waste by dispensing one cup of coffee at a time and substantially reduces labor requirements, compared with conventional brewing methods.
Three models are available: the smallest is the LC3, with a 750W. to 1,250W. heating element and 3-liter reservoir. It accommodates a 24-fl.oz. bag of liquid coffee concentrate, which yields 336 5-oz. cups of coffee, and can prepare 65 to 130 cups per hour.
The next size up is the LC7, with a 1,500W. to 3,000W. heating element and 9-liter reservoir. A 64-fl.oz. bag of concentrate yields 896 cups of prepared coffee and the machine can produce 125 to 250 cups per hour.
The largest model is the LC15, with a 3,000W. to 6,000W. heating element. It also holds a 64-fl.oz. bag, and can produce 260 to 520 cups per hour.
CoffeeSmart makes its coffee concentrate from 100% natural premium coffee beans and processes it without the use of chemicals or preservatives. Shelf-stable for six months, the concentrate is available in Columbian Blend, Espresso Italiano, Sumatra, 100% Colombian Decaf and Plantation Classic.
