NEW ORLEANS -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association and the International Bottled Water Association will collocate their fall and conferences at the Hyatt Regency Hotel here in November.
NAMA's 2012 CoffeeTea&Water event will take place from Nov. 13 to 15 and IBWA's annual business conference and tabletop trade exhibit will be held between Nov. 12 and 16. Both programs cater to workplace refreshment professionals.
The combined IBWA and NAMA trade show will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 14, and IBWA and NAMA educational seminars, business sessions and networking events will be held throughout the meeting dates.
"Many bottled water companies, particularly those in the home and office delivery business, also offer coffee and tea to their customers," said IBWA president and chief executive Joe Doss. "Collocating the IBWA and NAMA conferences will enable attendees and exhibitors to achieve a greater return on their investment by providing expanded educational programming, exposure to a broader range of products and services, and increased networking opportunities."
Chicago-based NAMA has served the vending, coffee service and foodservice management industries since 1936. Its CoffeeTea&Water confab is billed as the single-largest event dedicated to the coffee, tea and water service operator.
IBWA, founded in 1958 and based in Alexandria, VA, represents the interests of U.S. and international water bottlers, distributors and suppliers.
